If you haven’t heard about the official Google OS, they’ve announced it and it’s codenamed Android. You’ve heard about the Google OS and GPhone from here already, but, yes, you guessed it’s been confirmed.
Google said that they are going to leave the manufacturing to companies like LG, Samsung, HTC (Being their main dealer), and some other manufacturers not fortunate enough to be listed here as you wouldn’t know who they are. Korean and Chinese? Yes.
Out of their list, is noticeably Apple (of course) and Nokia.

We’ve got a number of tip-offs via e-mail (tips [at] technoessence [dot] com) and it looks like that the iPhone has been jailbreaked, and 3rd party apps are now loadable onto the two devices. Just for clarification, does this mean that it can be unlocked, or have Apple used further security measures?
And reports that the iPhone has indeed been unlocked with v1.1.1 are somewhat true, albeit the fact that it’s supposed to take 5 hours. -Ed
