Vista’s close enough bug fix. SP1 Release Candidate.

Vista Update

Today, the world’s most hated (or loved) Software company let go of the Release Candidate (RC) of their operating system, Vista.

Subsequently, it was titled Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (WVSP1) Release Candidate. Release Candidate means that the Service Pack is in a very final beta - with a few issues. It is not yet ready for everyone, and it is not advised to install the pack unless you are willing to risk something of some sort.

Now that the legal stuff is out of the way - you can install the RC from Windows Update, but only if you are running the beloved Vista operating system on your not so hot PC (NO offense, but Vista ain’t cool).

This means that the final version of the Service Pack is well on it’s way to arrive in the first quarter ‘08, about 12 months after Vista first revealed itself to the world. -Ed
