The new intern won’t be spilling the coffee on your lap anymore.

The inter-connected Mugs

Had you wished that you weren’t the one with hot coffee running down your thighs?

I’m guessing yes if you’re reading this article. Banish those thoughts from your head, because soon they’ll be a distant memory. That is if you buy the office a set of these for Christmas. These wonders let you connect up to six mugs full of hot coffee and let you carry them with out the sweat pouring into your supervisor’s coffee while also ridding the urge to place the mugs down on the nearest table.

There will be no need to see the interns face every time she comes back with a cup of coffee, one trip from the coffee machine, and no nonsense from now on. This is the only productive and rather interesting thing I’ve seen a mug do.

The mugs, created by Jonathan Aspinall, feature a small plus shape protruding from one side, while on the other side features a hole to insert and carry up to six mugs at a time. Just one thing to worry about, if they attach so well, how easy will they be to detach? I have visions of hot coffee all over your latest project. -Ed

what is the point in these mugs?
from a practical point of view, how easy is it to clean the inside of the mug.
also how easy is it to pull the mugs apart when they are filled with liquid, surely you will spill hot liquid all over yourself. not good.
they look like they are made from plastic, therefore surely the little connectors sticking out will be prone to snapping off, therefore a child safety hazard.

I have to agree with you Donna, the cleaning I’d say they are dishwasher safe, but the pulling apart, hmm.

They are made from plastic, but sturdy stuff according to the creator, so I doubt they’ll ever prove to be a hazard unless, somebody uses a knife to cut them off, like anything you can buy, there’s always going to be a hazard with anything you buy, but yes, maybe there is a chance with this.
