Nokia launches door. Or Ovi, in Finnish.
So, Nokia, the world’s leading phone comany, Ovi, the company’s new Internet services brand name. Ovi , meaning Door in Finnish, is a wide range of Internet Services. Part of the Ovi plan, is the Nokia N-GAGE, the gaming platform, and the Nokia Music store, music that makes you move, on the move. Surely this is a large hand that has just slapped Apple right on their Rosy cheeks. (No, I’m not an Apple hater, I’m what you call neutral.) The mobile website will house most popular artists in the ever expanding list. Also included in this special feature will be content only available through the Company.
Part of the set-up is Nokia Maps, google maps head on competitor, which offers free maps, and area information, while working as G.P.S. software on compatible devices.
