Ford’s using a little more brain power, when it comes to re-naming their classic Fiesta

Ford’s Concept: The Verve

Verve.
That’s what they want to call it, the Verve. Sounds like the cross between “Vroom” and a dead camel, and I like dead camels. (Jks)
The European branch of the American Company’s executives, are rumored to support the name change, in an ever changing world.
The Fiesta’s successor, the Verve Concept (Oh boy, do I like saying Verve. Verve.) will be shown at Frankfurt Motor show, with the new cross concept car, the Kuga.

Bold, even radical, Ford Verve Concept demonstrates the potential of Ford’s kinetic design philosophy to visualise a small car that is a chic and modern, and one that makes an individual statement for a sophisticated, fashion-aware generation.

says Martin Smith, Executive Director of Design for the European Branch of Ford.

While I won’t be at the motor show, I’m sure all eyes will be transfixed on Ford’s Corner. The final product, should arrive in the U.S. by 2009, while we are left hanging at the thought of no announced launch date in Europe. Presumably, the actual car, won’t be as erratically designed as the concept car, but let’s hope they don’t change it too much. -Ed
