E-3? From space? Oh no sorry, that’s E.T. Have a look at Olympus’ latest.

So, Olympus has announced their latest pro-dslr, the Olympus E-3. Finally, after weeks (or months, I’ve lost track!) of speculation, their new professional D-SLR has been revealed. It’s been a hectic month, with the Canon EOS 1ds MKII and the new EOS 40D, while Nikon announced the D3 and the D300.
Part of the 4/3rds lens system, this model is expected to be a 16mp camera, although we have no idea as of yet. This sounds like a great camera, from the same people who won the European Consumer camera award of 2007, with the E-510.
